Performance Q & A with Joey from Bikeman

ok. made the mod. just wanted to make sure. love the can.

Joey, do you have Dyno sheets that show all the data for HP and TRQ with a stage build that includes the Y-Pipe that came out this year?

It looks like the stock pistons on the H.O. 800 have multi thousand mile life. On par with Etec 600 ( ignoring some that lose pins). Like if you don't overheat, you might reach 10,000.

I know this wasn't so much the case with the 2008-2014 which the durability kits were developed for.

So, what benefit is the durability kit for this engine?

#1 Power! Better HP with more over Rev.
#2 longevity! Polaris Pistons have been refined but still do not meet the standard skirt length to bore ratio. The durability piston fixes this.

Joey, couple questions for you.

Does Bikeman offer the Bully Dog tuner for the Polaris 800 cfi Pro?
Does your 860 BB now implement a base shim?

Thanks

Sean not yet but i know neal has been working on a map for his own sled. And yes the 860 uses a base shim just like the durability kits

Joey - Have you had a chance to examine the changes between the 2018 and 2017 ECU yet? If so could you outline the changes like you did the 17/16 changes?
Thanks!
