Made some runs today with my Buddy on his INDY XC 850. Here's the full details on rider and sleds.

INDY 850:
Rider-235lbs
SLED: Clutching-Secondary changes only. Top end RPMs 8200-8250. Electric start. Camso 1.5" Lug

INDY 800:
Rider: 195lbs. Electric start-no battery in sled.
Extended to a 136" running 1.5" Lug. SLP Pipe, Clutched and geared. Revving 8150-8250.
Geared pretty well the same as the INDY 850

The 850 is hauling ass for sure. A stock INDY 800 would be at least 5-6 lengths behind. With some more tuning on this 850 its going to be a real arm puller for sure. Id be happy with the performance of the 850 in stock form or at least the way my Buddy has the secondary setup now.
Whoever got traction won the race, but when I was out front he was rolling hard on me. I could hold it off for 1000' then he was on me. I will be going to a taller gear ratio to see if I can hold it off on the top end.

great videos. The 1.5" indy also has very low gearing. I think maybe some different gearing would help it for drag racing

I ran my Assault against the INDY 850 the next day and the Assault is even quicker up top. I changed to a 1:74 ratio on my INDY and I pulled away even better on top end.
My Buddy has since tried 3 different gear combos on his 850 and nothing helped top end. We are at the conclusion its the 2:86 pitch drivers. Polaris should have never done this and ran 252s
The SLP pipe on my INDY is very inconsistent. When its hot I don't loose.
1st video is my Assault and next video is my INDY with 1:74 ratio.
