2006 Polaris classic 700
I have a 2006 Polaris 700 Classic efi. The temperature light came on, to make a long story short the water pump shaft is not turning, so the impeller is not turning, In researching the shaft it looks like the brass cam on the shaft may have stripped. It appears the oil pump shaft goes thru the motor to the water pump impeller. So can I get this shaft out without taking the motor apart? It looks like the case splits below this, I’ll try to post a schematic. Any help is greatly appreciated.
