2018 switchback assault 800 2001 600 edge 1996 ultra psi modblasters
I just got the assault a couple weeks ago and have put 10 68's with a 120-310 primary spring ,stock gearing and driven clutch components for the 2" track. I'm looking for more info for clutching and gearing. Sled jumps to 8250-8300 on take off and then drops to 8100 after 75mph

The stock secondary spring in that is light and wears out quickly. Replace it with a 140/220. Allow it to pull 8200.
Dalton Adjustables are the best all around easy to use weights. QAP3s are the ones you want. With the 2" track I run a 1:86 ratio as I do 50/50 trail and cut lines looking for powder.

Thanks for info where do you recommend ordering these parts at? Would a 22/40 set of gears work or the 22/41 is best. Would the qap2's allow me enough adjustment to use here in mn and also in the mountains?

Ya 22-40 Is a 1:81 ratio. 41/22 is 1:86.
If you’re running in the mountains doing long pulls I’d stay with a lower gear ratio such as stock or 1:95ish.
I’d prob stay with the QAP3s and you could go to a 320/330 finish on the primary spring if you aren’t pulling 8200.
Unless you have the QAP2s already then you’ll have to load them with pins.
Springs are cheaper then weights and you should pull 66s unless you’re at real High elevation.

Was checking dennis kirk today but no luck so what do you recommend for a place to get parts

has a hps can on it and wondering if that is dropping my hp

Snow is dropping fast but got 500 miles in last couple weeks what a blast. What other mods help out with the wheelie king? I see other people are tightening front limiter straps to control weight transfer.

I also need to geet my clutch balanced and cut for better overdrive any recommendations who does good work?

What delrin washers are people putting in the secondary for less binding

Finally got to play with clutching and used cutler turbo mags 60 gram loaded with 2 1" screws and a 140/200 and is a huge improvement but got ahold of some 65 gram tm's and need to tune them in more with the 140/220. Have not gotten to gearing yet but did get 22&41 with a 70 pitch chain to try eventually. Have you played with the turbo mags? Is the 9" big wheel kit worth putting on?
