Snowchecked a 2020 SB Pro S 850. 137”, 1.35 Cobra. Plan to stud the track, but not touch clutching. I have read where these models are a real turtle compared to other trail sleds. Any truth to this? I don’t like to be the slow guy

My friend rides a 2017 Pro S Rush 600 and it’s no slouch! I’m sure you’ll be fine with the 850. Enjoy the new sled!

No slouch by any means. I have a 2017 Pro S and I haven’t done any mods. It is just as fast as my turbo Viper. In fact if the Pro S gets the jump, it’s damn hard for my turbo to run it down. The

Good to hear. Thank you for the info.

Something was wrong with your turbo then or had only a few lbs of boost. I had a turbo Nytro with 10lbs of boost and that thing was an animal. No chance my 800 AXYS was hanging with that. With that said, the 850 motor is a beast for a stock motor for sure!

My turbo was running 4.5 lbs of boost. And I left the gearing stock. So it topped out around 108. It was no slouch, but was essentially an 800 class sled.

Then your 800 Poo was a pooch. A good stock 800 Poo will hang with or be in front of a turbo Nytro all day. I've done it.
