I have an 09 Shift no electric start. New Oxygen Helmet doesn't work with sled. Checked the helmet on my 18 ZR8000 and helmet works with no issues. Changed cords still the same. Could it be the voltage regulator? Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Have you tested the out put of the connection with a tester?

Yes, reads 12volts at idle, changed voltage regulator tonight and still not working, not sure what to do next.

Strange, if you have 12 volts at the plug then it has to be the chord or the helmet. Is it pushing enough amps required to run the heated shield?

not sure if you fixed your machine but just going to throw this out there, maybe the jack is worn and needs to be replaced. that would be my guess, plug and unplug over the coarse of time will make the internal contacts change shape. hopefully this helps.
