Seeking advice - 1999 polaris indy 340 deluxe

I have an older model 1999 polaris indy 340 deluxe that needs a rear shock Im having real trouble locating this part. Do anyone know if the shock from other models of snowmobiles would fit this machine. Sincerely appreciate any help I can get. Thanks .... Joan

Even if you find a shock that has the same extended and collapsed length the eyelets on the ends of the shock probably won't match up.

I have charts that show all the dimensions of the aftermarket shocks we can get, if you can get those dimensions I can probably help.

Thanks for responding Mike. the detentions are...total length is 22 1/2 " including mount holes. just the shock length without mount holes is 20". the shaft is 8 1/2" extended and shock body is 11 1/4". The shock is rusted so I can't compress it al the ways to give you that length. shaft mount hole is 3/4". and body mount holes is 11/16. takes a 7/16 bolt. Sure hope you can help. I would need center to center (of eyelets) collapsed and extended. It's the only way I can compare in the catalog.

Center to center eyelets is 21 3/8" extended. its rusted so I can't get the measurements collapse. total length is 22 1/2 " including mount holes. just the shock length without mount holes is 20". the shaft is 8 1/2" extended and shock body is 11 1/4" . shaft mount hole is 3/4". and body mount holes is 11/16. takes a 7/16 bolt.
