Hello I'm going to pull the engine out of my 16 axys. Question I have do the power valves need to be set up after ( timed ) ? Or something like that. Thanks

If you pull the whole power valve assembly out as one unit and don't touch anything else then you don't have to bud I would have your dealer hook it up anyway. They do it every time I have my sled in its not a big deal to do they click a button on there laptop and it calibrates them in a couple minutes

Ya I talked to my dealer thanx guys, Because I pulled my engine out I'm going to have them set the power valves and double check my tps. Just to make sure everything is OK.

Well after my friends dealing with a few different companies on there bb or porting the past 3 years, and a good talk with jaws, boost - it turbo, I went with Brent linderman @ arcticedge. Very helpful pulled the engine out one Sunday and he answered the 2 questions I had to call him with.

The shim is required because the pin location on the piston is about a quarter inch lower then stock. Adding the shim raises all the ports back to where they need to be.Depending on the shim thickness, most are around.240-.260 thou. You could raise the ports z touch more which would raise the shift speed a bit. This would only be recommend on a modded motor and pipe combo.(stock pipe only likes to turn 8200ish).

Can you get more descriptive with the kit??
I'm just wondering, you don't have to tell all.

Well as for the other company they make a very good product just very hard to get a hold of. For details on arcticedge products best to call him. I don't want to give out bad/wrong info, on spec alloy ect. Just going with what I seen run I real life.

I know who your taking about the first company. He's good, but he doesn't know how to treat people properly. It's a shame really.
