I have a 2017 Assault 800 that I changed out the gauge to the PIDD when new. The odometer/trip seems to read less than my friend's MX-Z & Renegade for a 175-200 mile ride mine reads about 7 miles less. When I had my 2015 Pro-S they were always within 2-3 tenths. Anyone else notice this??
Had one guy drill his and said it made no difference in temps. I also know of at least two guys running the 1.450 studs in the center and not adding the tunnel protectors. Both have several hundred miles on their sleds.
Cover comes off easy. Remove the muffler, brake caliper, remove bolts that attach the belly pan under the chain case the slide out the cover and roll the bottom forward and slide it off. Best ti extract the oil first and also have the sled tipped onto the left side. When I did mine I rinsed the...
I'm not adding any extra. Have the Cobra track and using Woody's 1.450" in the center only. Looks like plenty of clearance. The track lugs will hit the protectors that are on the coolers before the studs hit the tunnel.
