HI guys,

Didn't see anything specific on this within the last year or so. Was just wondering what you guys have had good luck with as far as carbides for trail.

Thanks!

I am running 8" Bergstrom Triple Points, ski savers and shims and they rock. I am also studded 144.

This will be a debate

But

I run woody 6” executives with 171 studs. Depends on suspension set up

Woops, meant to put this in the rush/Sb forum. Sorry.

Yikes. Berstroms are pricey. Already exceeded this years limit :(

I can only find the 8 inch in the executive. I see the six-inch in the trail IV. Do you have a PN?

Also, what are you guys using for shims on these skis ? I used to use an old piece of a belt but something tells me that's not the best way anymore lol

Thanks!

Pretty much anything will work, as look as it keeps it's shape and doesn't mush out. My personal favorite is an old piece of hyfax. It's easily cut, and readily available.

Yup, Bergstroms are spendy, but in my opinion worth every penny.
