I always ran stock clutching and gearing,never any bog.Make sure your clutches are not worn,belt not worn,and not too much belt deflection.

engine automatically shuts off if you leave it idle to long,with out touching the throttle

170 degrees is still ok .Hot light comes on at 185 degrees starts blinking at 201 at W.O.T. Temp can be a little higher if only at half throttle.Real high temps engine will automatically shut down.
