    2023 patriot 650 engine failure

    Too many new sleds coming with a large amount of air in the oil line. Son's new sled had 4" of air in the line from the tank. Good thing I bled it like I did to mine. This is a Polaris put together issue and dealer issue for not checking it.

    The problem with the pistons on the 12' and some other years is that they were losing shape. The skirts were 'collapsing', coming in, until they finally broke or from rocking to much in the cylinder, break the cylinder skirt. Pistons in a 4 stroke are totally different than 2 stroke pistons...

    Regulator is new. The only items not replaced are the stator and the ECU. Every sensor that can be changed has, injectors checked and cleaned, compression is 119 and 120, reeds replaced......so stator or ECU are it.
