I've got the best result on mine last year with
120-310 spring
10-70 weight
50-44f helix with delin washer
153-222 spring
1.79 ratio
lightly studded
Switchback 800 pro-s
riding in quebec city only! fast trail setup
I would try 2 more gram with a stiffer spring if i were you! should bring it to 8100! you may also have a backshift problem if falling so soon.. so maybe a stiffer rear spring could do the trick! (excuse my english)
One more XC 129 850 !!! I'm picking a blue one with lime green accent and blue tunnel!.. also choose storm track! can't wait to ride this thing. Leaving my loved Pro-s.. hopping to not regret..lol
if your ajustement are all right! then you can begin clutching one parts at the time!! i suggest getting rid of gold spring for a 120-310, engagment will rise at 3800 and you mey also need to add 2 gram! but it will pull alot harder just from that!! my first mod was the 1.76 ratio tho!..
I have try some recommandation of brock on mine! Switch 800 pro-s, and it work's very good! 10-15 km/h more top end and better mid punch,
try 10-68 weight in the primary ( or ajustable set to 69 with a lot on tips )
120-310 primary spring
1.73-74 ratio
begin with this to see if you like where...
i ran against one in our crew a couple time! he's clutched/geared, I'm clutch/geared, take 1-2 sled lenght until 80mph..after that it's like hitting the brake..lolll
I have pretty much the same setup as you but on a pro-s ! i switch the 140-220 to a 140-200 last week! a gain a little mph up top but lose a little backshift, nothing to worry about if your looking for a better top speed!
164km/h with the 140-220 on hard pack (-25deg celcius)
165 km/h on 3 inch...
After the spring swap it only turn 7900-8000rpm , i grind 1 gram off my modded 66’ and gain back my 8100-8200! I’m doin 170km/h gps now on 2-3 inch flufy snow!.
