Has anybody tried them, I've seen very little talk anywhere about them. Maybe I just answered my own question. anyhow I have the jaws, 48/44, gates, and now I need weights. Maine bound in 2 weeks. Just go with dalton or tm?

I don't know the profile or if there tucked vs 10 series so I can't comment on Indy dans weights, sorry ?

The Dalton's are a safe bet for sure. You can't go wrong with these weights as they work very well

I have stm super tips that will work good also.

I ran 2 of the Indy Specialties profiles this year, the V3 and the V5. The V3 is hard hitting snappy weight that I really liked for tree riding. The weights were easy to adjust, performed great with tons of bottom and mid range grunt and a respectable top end. Test sled was stock Axys 800. Also tested the V5 weights, much smoother than the V3, a great low speed weight that wont lead to trenching, pulled well had an almost electric feel compared to the semi violent V3.

V3, great for the guy that loves a strong bottom end and doesn't mind committing to a line and keeping up on belt deflection.

V5, great all around weight, adjustable and a stronger pull than a 10 series weight. These are the weights I am running in my wife's sled.

The two different profiles fit different riders and if your honest with yourself and needs, Dan/Jon can help you can choose the proper weight for your application. I also like that I went from 20 sets of 10 series, Belly Buster and MTX weights etc to 4 sets of Adjustable weights that can cover every elevation I ride without bolts and loctite. I can adjust the weights in minutes and fine tune the shift profile to my hearts content.

also note :
V3 require clutch reshimming= tucked weight

V5 no clutch reshimming = 10 series heel height

Per Indy Specialty web site

I'm currently using the V5-3. There are three versions of the V5 and the difference is a cut on one side, cut on both sides or no cut along the roller edge. Dan said the V5 is the same profile as 10 series. He's also willing to customize it however you want. I can't say much more than that as this is the first time using non stock weights and I made several other changes. I will say I'm really happy with the advice I've received from this site and the weights seem to work well for my setup.
