2019 Indy XC 600
Anyone remove a coolant sensor from a `19 XC 600?
Looks like its at the back of the engine beside the thermostat housing…..
Any insight would be helpful.

Its the brass one screwed into the side of the head, has a 90deg brass nipple right next to it. The black one bolted in underneath the head is the knock sensor.
 
So is it the one right beside the thermostat housing with two wires - black and yellow?

Looks like the air box has to get out of the way to get at it? Does that sound about right?

I've never changed one on a 600 but you are probably going to at least have to take that fiber duct part of the airbox that overhangs the plugs to get better access.

They recommend removing the duct and moving the oil reservoir out of the way and going in from the side.
