After spending much of my summer trying to figure out what mods I would like to do.(And reading the pipe shootout)This is what I came up with.

Send the primary to Indy specialties to get the top secret hot trail clutch kit with balancing.

Bikeman or SSI> pipe + muffler+PCV+POD display. But I’m struggling with “should I wait till after break in”?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Yes wait till after break in. I personally think that is safest.
one if the sled does have anything wrong with it or early warranty claims they wont fight u for aftermarket add ons.
Two the computer does run with diffrent parameters in break in may cause some weird codes.
three if u manage to tune your sled while breaking it in it may be all for waste and change once the computer unlocks itself

and as an added bonus once u are broken in and have a feel for the sled u will be able to feel the extra power of your add ons and decide for yourself if they were worth it.
just my two cents

some guys have said the SSI pipe causes det after long runs. Look into that more before you buy.
