MR INDY, OEM Secondary or TEAM or P2? What gearing you guys running?

So try the 120/210 Tabbed secondary spring? Or the 140/200 first?

    Best adjustables

Yeah, I have a 110/290 and 120/300 coming which likely will perform similar to the 110/320 I had in it. All have a similar start rate, so depending on conditions I may still spin with those springs. Don't really want to change from the 50/44, but if I had to - what would you suggest?

    Best adjustables

I’ve got a 120/310 I could try but I think that start rate will be too high (spinning from holeshot is my thought). Ordered a couple lower start and finish rate Polaris springs to try.

I'm not seeing a drop in RPM with the P2 from the hole shot. It does seem like with the P2 I spin more, not as easy to get traction out of the hole. I run pretty long studs too...

    Best adjustables

For those running the TM's and P2 - what sled are you running (Rush, Switchback, Assault?) and what other mods - pipe, BB, etc. are you running along with chassis improvements - track, big wheels, gearing, different driver, etc. I'm curious why the Daltons and TSS-04 seem to be working better...

    Best adjustables

I tried a 110/320 Primary Spring with the TM's, OEM belt and then a P2 secondary with a Dalton 50/44 helix with the 145/220 Tabbed Secondary spring. It worked fine, but in a drag race situation (I'd call it hardpack/ice) it seems like a 160/330 Primary spring with Dalton adjustable weights and...

I would be curious how you do with a 140/200 secondary spring vs. a higher start/finish rate. Likely may shift out better for more MPH.

    Idler wheel replacement?

    Trust me, I've tried.

    Idler wheel replacement?

For those that put in 8" idler wheels in your Axys? Did you use 3 or 4 idler wheels? What I found is that Avid only makes the offset Axle that accepts the 25mm (6205) bearings which basically means a person has to go all plastic wheels with no rubber (not good for those with studs IMO) or Whal...

    Proper clutch alignment

Seems the secondary will stay outwards until you really mash the throttle, then it moves inwards towards the bulkhead...

    Proper clutch alignment

Here is a question, with the OEM Primary and Secondary, and using the OEM offset/alignment tool, with perfect offset/alignment set... the secondary should only tend to float inward towards the bulkhead correct? Since the outer sheave is stationary on the secondary, the belt should get pulled...

    team vs p2

Throw the Dalton adjustables in there and try again. But in the TSS-04 the 50-44 and 48-44 work great.

    team vs p2

I would honestly be investing in some Dalton adjustable weights...

    Studding track

A few of us have been using the Stud Boy Lake Racers for trail riding/friendly drag racing with good results. Some bend yes, but we ride a lot of junk sometimes with little snow....and we run them long. 1.500" to 1.625" on 1" lug tracks.

What are the OEM Part numbers for the various model P2 secondary clutches?

    Check TPS?

I put my 2015 on Digital Wrench, it was off. So I had them adjust to spec. Haven't rode it but maybe 10 miles on a less than snow covered lake since - winter didn't come where I live...so no comment on if/how it improved performance. My 2016 was in spec., so didn't adjust TPS on that one.

    Exhaust Valve Cleanup

I'm going to use blue. I don't think my 2015 had any kind from the factory. My 2016 had evidence of red.

    Exhaust Valve Cleanup

Red or blue? I noticed none used on my 2015 60th, but my 2016 had red. I didn't use any when I put mine back in on the 2015, you saying I should pull the bolts back out and add loctite on the 2015??
