Personal Feedback from last winter Setup!!

Going from 1.76 to a 1.73 is not going to be easy to notic I think. The helix choice is good, might as well get 48-44 on one ramp and 50-44 on the other , both full progressive. Your spring and gear choice will depend on ur weight ..

    Full Shift

THE EASIEST WAY TO CK IS TAKE THE SPRING AND WEIGHTS OUT OF THE PRIMARY AND MANUALLY MAKE THE BELT RIDE ON THE OUTSIDE CIRCUMFRANCE AND SEE WHERE THE BELT SITS, ONCE ITS MACHINED REPEAT WITH THE BELT AND SEE HOW MUCH FURTHER THE BELT COMES OUT OF THE PRIMARY. I HAVE TWO PICTURES OF THIS ON HERE...

    Jaws pipe heatshield

Johnny's slp pipe is wrapped has been on his 800 and 860. Norms bmp pipe is wrapped as well. he has done some testing with it on and off, I believe with good results too. Slp worked very well for John on both motors, great midrange on the860 over the jaws pipe

    Jaws pipe heatshield

Nothing retains heat like the stock covers, so the jaws covers are The closest to stock you can get..the only covering that would work besides a wrap is swain tech. The white textured ceramic coating, feels like sand paper. The chrome looking stuff is better then black paint, but that's about...

    Jaws pipe heatshield

lol, I mean when a sled is left out side ,or neglected..lol the pipe will rot, had it happen to a buddy on that exact pipe ,took it to the dealer for service and it sat outside and fucked it up

    Jaws pipe heatshield

ha ha ,that's my picture, and yes just like that or buy his heat shields. You have to remember,if you wrap it you need to take better care of it .When the wrap gets wet and sits it will hold moisture and rott, and you don't want that, cant leave the sled out in the rain, crap like that..

    2015 800 ho Pro X Clutching Upgrade

The jaws pipe is going to want to run 8400 or better, so do what you need to do to maintain that shift speed without jamming big springs in the clutches..

    avid 9 teeth 2,86 pitch

yes stock track can be used,if you want to run 1.94 ratio in the chain case? then the final ratio with the bigger drivers would be about 1.72 . so if your running 8 tooth 2.86 with 22/38 (1.73) now the 1.72 is the closest.those gears could be (20-39)..the ratio is up to your riding style,there...

    avid 9 teeth 2,86 pitch

This is one step further then just 10 tooth drivers and 8 inch rear wheels.. 144 inch hacksaw in a 137 skid . I used to run 24/40 with 8 tooth 2.86.. with the 10s I run 23/43..( 1.86) so it works out to 1.67 once you factor the big drivers in. The 1 inch track is huge for acceleration to...

    avid 9 teeth 2,86 pitch

Your best bet is a driver from Avid, what ratio do you want to run? And don't get confused between 9 tooth 2.86 and 10 tooth 2.52.. Md. Indy... the speed comes from lighter weight and short lug height, it's all about efficiency and resistance. A 1 inch track will move less air then a 1-1/4...
