I would want more trail speed, with good top speed. So gearing wouldn't be out of the question. But I don't want a lake racer. But I know with a 1.75 that won't happen.
So what would I have to change my gears to, to get higher top speed without losing my take off and mid. I have seen 107 MPH on the speedo, so it must be off by a few...lol...
Right on, ya I want it to be power in the mid and top speed. I know I need a different helix with more of a straight angle with a heavier weights. So I'll just have to start with that. I might have to do a gear change too. I guess ill find out.
Ok as you know I have a 2015 Polaris Pro X 800 H.O. With a stage 2 SLP kit, pipe can, and clutch kit. My RPM's are at 8350-8400 WOT. Im thinking about getting a FPP head and domes head shim and a fuel controller. I have a switchback with a 1.75 track. Im around 250 dressed. And I'm a hard trail...
Right on, well mine was running great in stock form, 8250 rpm's and I just wanted some more HP. I have had good luck with SLP so that's why I got another one. I think once I'm done with everything that I want to do, I'll be running a strong 175-180 HP. I hope!! That's why I have been watching...
Right now I just have a SLP pipe and can. And SLP clutch kit, stage 2. I was thinking about putting a FPP head and domes and a fuel controller on it. I don't know what my pipe runs at for temp, but the sled runs at 127 unless I sit and idle for a long time. But while running down the trail or in...
I have been talking a lot with Full Power Performance and he said he has a helix and clutch kit that will go good with what I have and including his head, and fuel controller. And my weight. And I'm willing to add more HP better reliability and a faster sled, sounds good to me! Justin at FPP...
And trust me, Me and everyone else appreciates that!! See TPS and all that I understand, it's the clutching that messes me up...lol...as I have said in everyone of my post...lol...I just want to make sure I'm using all of my HP, don't get me wrong this 800 rips and I love the power it has. I...
Yes they are SLP weights. And the kit came with a bunch of rivets. I was losing rpm's during my mid range. Then i told my dealer that and he made changes to help my mid range. A and it worked. Cause I wasn't losing rpm in the mid range. I think he took a little weight out of the middle hole. But...
I keep reading your advice and it sounds really good, but it goes in one ear and out the other. I just don't understand...lol... I'm the same way with carbs. I can rebuild a motor and I was a jet mech. On the F/A 18 Hornet while I was in the Navy and could take apart that motor and put it back...
I don't know what weights they gave me in the kit. I didn't put them in. And they came with some rivets. And I had changed them once, I was losing mid range rpm.
