Ya i get it might add protection which could cause the hp to drop but its prly changed to run better and more consistent pulls so it doesnt drop off is from what i understand
Ive been running mine for 3k miles on both sleds and never seen it drop to 80. even in 2 feet of snow lowest it gets is 97. avg is around 110 in both sleds. you can definitely feel its got more pep when its below 125.
Yup, been runninh without one all last season in both sleds and now this season. was just out riding last weekend and in the trail it stays at 111-116 and off trail around 106-109.
I was the first one to get the axys pipe from bikeman and just put another one on my other sled. they definitely didnt change anything in shape. got the bullydogs on both sleds this year with the y pipes. cant wait to rip!!!
No the red label ves race is. it has more detergents for cleaning and more zinc for wear protection. i ran reg ves in my 2015 axys the first year. then ves race all last year. power valves were cleanner then running reg ves. i personally only run ves race in my sleds as im super hard on them and...
If it was better dont you guys think polaris would out source the oil making to the aftermarket so it was cheaper for them instead of spending millions on making the best oil for that particular engine.
Just wait for the new veshttp://www.snowmobile.com/products/why-oems-make-their-own-twostroke-snowmobile-oil-1875.html
Heres a good read about oils and how they are different and why oem oils are better
I can show you results tho. we just spent the last 6 months testing 10 hours a day on the dyno testing oil vs amsol, koltz, mystik etc. making oem oils not all companys focus on the same things. one want a cleaner burn so we put more detergents in it, one wants it to last longer with less heat...
We do make a 2 stroke break in oil for polaris. im not sure how they use it because we only blend it in 300 gal totes and send it to the factory. we dont put it in bottles. might wanna ask a dealer about that. otherwise i would just use reg ves for break in with a quart of oil in the first tank...
Can you show me proof that it is a better oil package? because our tests prove otherwise. we spend tons of time and money on the dyno and in the field developing the oil and its additive package. if you want the best oil for your ho run ves race oil. that is the best you can buy right now.
The regular ves is more then enough protection for the axys motor. If you race your sled tho the ves race and extreme just gives you that added protection for the more abuse the motor takes.
