You get an email after you confirm snowcheck, and after it ships. You have to ask your dealer for the estimated ship date that they can look up on there computer. My assault and many others say 9/21 ship date
I don't think its a secret its SSI. The guys on here had a dyno day about 2 years ago with all the pipes and SSI kicked there butt. I had a SLP to put on my new sled and they got pretty much no hp out of it. I sold it and got a SSI pipe mod to put on my brand new sled. Pipe works until the...
Well the kits are all over the place.
I had SSI. The weights were junk and wear out very fast because of the soft metal they are made from. BMP weights are not aggressive enough and there are like 3 versions that don't work good. I think they are making a new kind. Some kits like northstar...
The major reason for the victory shut down is all the victory motors did not meet the emission standards that are taking effect. They would have had to redesign every model.
Some info i find interesting are the changes they have made to the 800HO over its run so far
In 2016 they changed the...
I ride in Chautaqua county ny awesome trails! Highly recommend it best there are anywhere and not far. We have rode from home south of Erie pa to Rochester ny 300 miles and then another 300 back.
You live in NW PA? Me also. Where do you ride? Can't go wrong with either sled I decided to go for assault and try something different and looking forward to the versitility of it and faster top end.
Get mine from my local dealer that I buy all my sleds and he hooks me up real good. They love loyal customers and will take care of you. Try asking for a discount. Or the snowmobile shows they usually have deals on it.
I snow checked an Assault. 1.6 cobra. Not sure what I'm going to do probably keep it stock until its good and broke in and I have a bmp pipe and tuner I can put on. Not sure on clutching maybe Northstar or BMPs with there new weights. Also have XCR front track shock to put on if I don' t...
12 back of beer pull battery out, brake rotor, tip sled on side and pull cover off and bam mystery solved lol.
Money on they didn't touch the gears. 300 bucks to change track? labor, oil, new gears, new chain thats more than 300 itself
You can hold more than one tune on the bully dog no laptop needed but you have to reflash the ecu engine must be off. And ecu powered up. Only way to do this is ecu power up cord bully dog comes with which you can take with you
It reads air intake temp, coolant temp, rpm, pipe temp so on to decide what fuel to give. PCV just goes in between computer and the injector and most maps only change Full throttle fuel. So its doing nothing unless you got the throttle to the bars. And it can't change things like if its warm...
Also I think there is way more to the Snap and instant throttle response the Doo have. There motor is just way more advanced, have the intake fuel injector and it just way more high tech then polaris.
The doo clutch has a D shape where it goes on so it only goes on one way for the counter balance effect above. Just plain not going to work on a polaris
You can choose the assault in every color option as with the other models except xcr sleds have different options. Are you referring to the Polaris dealer show video? They did have a wrapped red assault they use Arctic fx I think you can get it threw Polaris accessory catalog
These shootouts are done privately by those guys. They buy the pipe, dyno time and test the parts that they want to run and tune there sleds. They apparently choose not to run slp? Or don't have one to test, don't want to use there dyno time to test a pipe they are not using? Who knows. You...
Is this switch like slp pipe temp resistor? Trying to fool the ecu in to thinking pipe is cooler or hotter to make sled run leaner or richer? I have heard there are 30+ different maps in the ecu controlling stuff. Seems the best way to make pipe heat is the internal stinger pipes like ssi...
Did you ever try the built in powercommander launch mode? It does work. Will get pipe hot real fast. Same concept as the dragon button on the snocross sleds. retards timing
