I had one that choke was not working correctly and fought that sucker and then once fixed I was like WOW, that sure runs nice.

It could its its trying to engage but usually not. To me it sounds like the choke is not working correctly and could be stuck on or the pilot circuit is plugged.

It could be warn clutch rollers or guides, center bushings.. check over the clutches.

I have installed all kinds in many sleds.. a use M10 would be a great ride!!

What are you looking to get out of the sled after upgrade. They can quite costly, more then the sled is worth.

If they have 12volt power and ground, you can use those. Any 12volt source will work. I would add an inline fuse as well.

Are you sure the carb is clean, sounds like it could be a plugged pilot.
