These Assaults did all of the above
Tightened the limiter strap
Loosened all the shocks
New lighter springs still on softest setting
the springs are measured by wire coil
Thickness just pick the thinnest ones
I think the main issue is the customer service. that is what business is all about .i really value a few guys options on this web site and they have helped me.

the two assaults in our group put the lightest torsion springs and they loved the ride after that they were also light weights 160 pounders all they said is why didnt they do it sooner
I welded a little extra on the tip worked good for me on my daltons welded 0.4 and put 0.7 slug in and loaded the heel as much as it would take depending on conditions

I have installed a 2017 rear track spring they changed the rate from 120 to 130.
in my manufacturer book it states to set
120 lbs rear spring to 2.75 inches of spring preload
150 lbs rear X spring to 1.5 inches of spring preload
If someone has a 2017 switchback...
Just a heads up make sure you use blue loctite on the Dalton set screw ,I never used loctite just what was on them and never had an issue until this weekend i had 1.3 gram on the heel with 1 thread showing spit off all three arms
I am using the Dalton adjustable and i have the 1.3 on the heel and have two threads showing when i tried the 1.9 and 2.5 on the heel i had about three and a half treads showing with no Loctite and no issues
so far my best results in all different conditions 0.7 tip and 1.3 heel might be a good...
i have a 2016 pro s switchback i have a 150 lbs x spring on the front track shock and a 130 lbs rear outside shock spring off a 2017 switchback S really liking it this has really helped the bottoming issue
Brock have you tightened the limiter strap we have a couple of assaults in our group two of them with your set ups these things on some hard packed trails wheelie on command we were thinking to do that to try to keep the front end down

so far with testing last weekend with my set up in trail riding condition loose snow odd hard packed fields at 1600 feet i ended up 2.5 on the heel two treads showing
result was 8300 to 8350 with a fairly big cam i put the 66-61f back in my tied and 8400 to 8450 but only made a few hits...
