    SLP Magnum weights?

I couldn’t agree more. That’s why I tell guys the turbo mags(aggressive profile)are for tuners not for the guys that wanna gas n go. Weight has to be changed going from 500’ to 3000’, or from hard pack to sticky snow, or from -10 to +10. Etc..

I run 1/2”-3/4” longer then lug and it’s fine.

Spinning with a P2 means to shallow of a cam( not loading ) and to heavy start rate spring.

All bd tunes we’ve tested on the Dyno are lean. Low on fuel lbs/hr too. Up to you?? Ask doc on here about that as he Dyno tests too and sold his bd . Run the bikeman pipe alone or with a safe afr map we’ve made. Up to you? As for primary weights. I can’t speak for slp magnums as I don’t...

P2 grabs belt more then a tss04 with torsion/side pressure. Lighten up spring start rate Anyways, whatever Adjustables anyone gets? Set screw style is best for ease of adjustment

Broken record but info is appreciated!

Starting point I guess?? If you’re a hardcore tuner that doesn’t mind changing set screws for different conditions, elevations, temps. Etc... turbo mags . I suggest these for tuners only . It’s an aggressive profile and takes some testing to make them work Or go to dalton set screw adjustable...

    SLP Magnum weights?

The mtx are a flatter profile to keep revs up in higher elevation. What weights are you talking about? Different ways to clutch for sure. It’s not about picking someone’s set up on here and saying yours is faster? Anyone can say that? I like a more aggressive profile then slp and lighter...

Personal Feedback from last winter Setup!!

I’m thinking you’ll never flip a belt unless you machined clutch

For low elevation (0-2500’), it’s hard to beat the ease of set screw adjustable weights . No serperating clutch or taking belt off  For profiles, that’s a different story o_O

Personal Feedback from last winter Setup!!

You need more tipweight to force belt up top of primary to get good mph

    SLP Magnum weights?

Not that I hate slp weights at all. Their weights are purpose built for high elevation and mountains. Things get way different near sea level and trail riding. Maybe the new weights are good for low elevation flat land trail riding??

    PCV launch control

It’s a pcv that’s for axys 800. Not hard to hook up. Micro momentary switch that’s $1.00, some 22 gauge wire, put into pcv in input #2, and set it up on pcv on computer. The thing I don’t like after testing it today in shop is it doesn’t build pipe heat, advances timing by 7(instead of...

NEED TECH HELP!!! Pulling my hair out...

I’m offering my opinion, just so you know. Doesn’t mean I’m 100% correct. I would gear to 1.81 ratio vs 1.73 with you’re track lug height to get you the 8400 you’re looking for? You’re almost there . Div20 The belt is not reaching the top of primary by picture shown. At least 5-10 mph there. I...

NEED TECH HELP!!! Pulling my hair out...

The 160/340 spring is ridiculous to me. I like anything from 100-maybe 140 start at most . And 310, maybe 320 finish. So, a 110/290, 100/305,120/300,120/310. Etc.. in other words, if you can’t pull weight with a 120/310 spring, take some out. Don’t add a heavier spring for more resistance. Just...

NEED TECH HELP!!! Pulling my hair out...

You have a 1.75” lug track. I’d go no lower then 1.80 ratio I don’t know you’re springs but I’m guessing from slp there heavy. The mtx weights are a flat profile and will rev to the moon and go nowhere. Not made for top end flatland sleds. Mtx are for mountain sleds to keep rpm high in higher...
