But what if that profile doesn't suit the customer's needs? Can they return them and get the profile that will suit their needs? Just curious and not trying to start shit. Thanks.
Stock gearing is 23/40 with a 70 pitch chain, primary weights are 10-66 with a gold spring that is 100-275, helix is, according to the Master Repair Manual, 64/42/36 with a blue/black secondary spring of 123-203 poundage.
On the bold. So are those who bought the flatter profile weights stuck with them and out of the money that they spent on them? Just curious what you'll be doing for them.
I'm sponsored for weights at work. They have a 5/16 screw that weighs around 1 gram. Sadly they don't have 5/8 weights. Will be looking at Cutler Turbo Mags next year.
Just checked out the site. The mounts to mount them to the rail are fine but when the scratchers are not in use you have to hang them up on the rail which is what my problem is.
I'm pretty sure that Dale at Dalton has tungsten inserts for his adjustable weights. I seem to remember seeing them on his site. As for Cutlers I'm not sure but maybe check out their site or send an email to them.
How many on here are using them, where are you mounting them, and how? My rails are pretty scratched up and wearing from them. Where are you guys mounting them and how are you protecting the rails from getting wear marks in them? Also mine randomly will somehow get back up on the rails or come...
On the bold. I'd almost seriously consider betting the farm on that issue. I checked my rivets and so far so good. Thanks for reminding me about the steering post update as I forgot about that.
