They should tear into the engine. Bet any money the pistons are loose. Loose as in the clearance from piston to cylinder is to much. Many are having this problem including me. Dealer has order 3 cylinders and 6 pistons. Pistons are ok but not one cylinder measures the same.
I have the 50-44f helix. It runs well on very hard packed or ice. But trail riding rpms are a little low. How is the 48-44f different? How much would it bring my rpms up?

Anybody try unbolting the knock sensor and zip tie it off to the side and then try it. I did that to some of my older sleds and it seemed to help. Especially with the edge 800
Thanks neal. I see there's a y pipe also. I have purchased the pipe last season and thinking of the y pipe. I have the power commander with the map from dtr for 2016 and wondering if I install the y pipe if it will need a different map.
At any time since bikeman made the first axys pipe did it ever get altered or and change in the design? Or has it been the same since the first pipes that came out.
