If your gonna be jumping the sled (on purpose not just normal trail air ) your gonna have some work to do. S Is sprung and valved soft. And I would switch over to an xcr fts mount or at very least put some better bolts with longer shoulders in the stock fts rail mount. I have sheared the...
I was putting oil in tank in 15 as recommended .BUT both myself and buddy did not do this on our 17models. We did make sure oil was all the way to fittings so no bubbles to starve it. On a cfi putting oil in the tank still only blows it into port via injector. This also displaces some of the...
It says snowmobile race tips and forms click on that and then scroll down and find the xcr 600 cross country terrain tips. Keep in mind the number of clicks listed are out from zero. This is where I put mine for a starting point and it was ok I needed to stiffen up the fts a lil bit more but I'm...
Type Polaris race tips xcr 600 into search on computer it will pop up a link to the Polaris race tips etc. it's all on there cross country terrain set up.
I had one once that somebody else did an engine replacement in and hook the wrong wire to the temp sensor and it stuttered banged and popped wouldn't rev. Which is why I was wondering if you had it unplugged
The temp sensor could effect it as far as (if I remember correctly it's been awhile) if it thinks it's hot it will break up and stutter the sled It's not just to turn a light on
The breaking up is tough to Internet diag. I've seen for many reasons . Is it fair to assume you have made sure the carbs are free of any blockages and setting are correct or at least close ? Carb boots not torn. Are the valves clean bellows intact and pressure ports from cyl clean not just the...
What happens if you warm sled up on stand bring it up to engagement then crack throttle right to bar does it bog for a second or pop ? What rpm is it at when you go wide open and it breaks up ? Or does it do it as soon as it goes to bar regardless of rpm. Have you ck. Throttle free play and...
No I don't . The conditions here don't usually call for any addition cooling or lubing methods. At least not on the axys proxc configuration. Maybe diff. On assault but I haven't heard any issues last year on it. I have one in the crate (assault ) but not sure if I'm gonna take it or not. My 17...
Worst case you can modify the bing on 15-17 pipe to fit 18 - I haven't done it but may require welding a new bung in its place still wayyyyy cheaper than buying a new pipe. Personally I would stay away from pipe mod. At least in original configuration.
I let mine run up to 80. Then I just go easy until thermo opens (you can see this by monitoring temp on gauge ) then when temps stabalize I just let it have it.as far as high beams and hand warmers like stated above its part of load shedding sending availible juice to the parts that could cause...
Correct if your clutch is incabable of running the belt up high it will be short on mph or should I better say there is more potential mph if it can. Had to have a lil removed from the lower part of sheeve to get it to close.
Remove primary ,remove spring ,close primary ,lay belt in primary and see if its. Capable of closing enough to drive the belt up to the top. Mine needed a lil tweak to get it to close far enough.
