For my set up I change my tied helix 68/63 to 64/60 and i gain 250/300 rpm . If your go with your other helix 46/42 , probably you gain your rpm but lose some acceleration . Do you try with your 145/220 spring ?
i have one . i will check the temperature with next run . My primary is hot but i dont burn my finger. My tied secondary is way more colder . I put a 64/60 helix today( i run 68/63 presently) i will able to fine tune my clucthing on the spot
What the "normal " temperature operation for the clutch ? I know colder is better but i asked from what temperature it'starting to be dangerous for the belt ?
After little testing today , the sled shift faster but only 7900-8000 rpm . The primary don't full shift and is very warm with my hand. Your probably right Doc ! What the next options ? buy a other helix like 64/60 or take off weight in the primary .
My set up 2016 adventure 800 :
23/40 gear...
The other helix cut is 70 /65 . It's more angle . I know is not the better way for tunnig the secondary but if i run stiffer spring like 140/240 will be help to compensate for more angle helix ?
Yes not good deal on amazon.ca the shipping was to high . I will check 2koolperformance Thank !! The part number of the team tied for polaris axys is really 421511 ?
