    Jaws pipe heatshield

Certainly looks better installed on the pipe, and looks like he polished it up a bit too. I'm curious of thoughts on the Bikeman pipe also. It's ceramic coated, I think, and is designed internally to basically hold heat, or make heat, whichever way you want to say. Would that benefit...

Brock, how much do you typically remove when you machine for overdrive ?

Non HO Cylinder fit on Ho bottom end

It may bolt on, but many things will be different. Ports, Valve block, injector size? And location , ?? Even the cfi cylinder blocks were different from year to year. Mainly with the injectors I think.

    Jaws pipe heatshield

Looks like my kids made those heat shields. Personally, I'd be pissed if I received something like that for $150. Shipping is shipping, but that seems high too. I know diesel and stamping costs money, but there's only about $5 worth of material. Maybe $10 at most. I'd be reluctant to put...

2 up seat for 17 assault

Thank you. I have seen those, and I do think they're available here, but I don't care for the look of it. Polaris makes a very nice seat for the axys, but it works with the cargo rack on the rush type chassis. Thinking about getting the seat and rack, and fabbing it to fit my sled...

2 up seat for 17 assault

I asked around towards the end of last season and thought maybe someone found a good solution over the summer. Would like to have a 2 up seat for occasional ride with my wife. Polaris doesn't make anything specific for the assault, but I read somewhere that they're supposed to release one...

Hey Brock, what do you charge to machine and balance a primary ? 2017 assault. 800 miles on it, so it should be in good shape. Shipping to Canada might be expensive, but you seem to be the guy to do it correctly.

Skidoo P drive clutch on Axys ?

More engineering = more expensive sleds. :(

Tough to beat a cobra on the trail.

    18 SKS 146/155 or SB Assault 144

2" is a big paddle for the trail. Hard on hyfax as you're 2" off the snow. Off trail is fun, but be honest with yourself as to what you'll be doing majority of the time. 1.6 is a good compromise of on and off trail. Still studable if wanted

Gear recommendation for stock 12 sb 800 pro r

I would go with the assault gearing. I had the same sled in '12. 1.74 is ideal.

    18 SKS 146/155 or SB Assault 144

Assault with a 1.6 cobra track. Narrow front end will be pretty tippy in the corners on trail.

    Hot pipe switch

What does it do ? How is it raising pipe temps ? , Or is to just tricking the computer to think the pipe is up to temp ?

    Assault won't start

Same here. Odd that an injected motor would flood, but mine did once last week. Wide open and pull the cord.

    Stay away from terra alps

I'm curious as to how these parts are out of spec. Assuming everything is cut on a CNC machine, seems like they should be perfect. Not saying that anyone is right or wrong, just odd. The 12.1 to 12.7 domes is definitely a problem. Probably run good with some good gas tho.

    Check engine

Exhaust valve code. Check all the connections to valve motor, and relays on cross member by exhaust. There's also an 8 pin connector understand the hood I've seen some issues with. Actually, I would check all connections and put die-electric on them. But your issue is with the exhaust...
