Bought a 2015 rush 800 need more performance out of it

My 2016 pro s runs good and pretty strong. BUT today we hammered down the railroad bed and my buddy's cat 800 whooped me bigtime! He has a lot of goody parts and time in this sled. I'm not to excited having a cat go by me like that! HAHA!!! Polaris man that I am it just doesn't sit right...

Went out today for an awesome ride! Trails are finally getting good up here in northern Maine!! Anyway my sled is at 219 miles and I'm geared 1.74 with 50-44f and 68 gram EPI weights. Primary spring is 120-310 and secondary is 140-220. Still not getting full shift on primary. Down about 1/4...

Bigfuse, I was talking about the 50-44f helix with 140-200 for the secondary and 68 gram weights with stock spring for the primary. I was down on rpm with this setup so I'm putting a 120-310 spring in the primary as soon as I get one. As of right now I have 160 miles and I'm noticing that the...

    Clutching and gearing

I went out for a ride today and sled goes good! I installed the 50-44f helis with 140-200 spring. My primary clutch has stock spring with 68 gram weights. So when I had the stock helix and spring it pulled 8300 all day long. Now with the 50-44f helix its down to 7900 to 8150 rpm. I wonder if...

What solid weights you guys like the best? I've been buying EPI belly busters. Should I stay with that type?

    Clutching and gearing

Yup! A 16 pro s ltd. I was skeptical about getting it because there's been a few 15's around and some are good hard runners and some are just complete dogs. But so far so good!

    Clutching and gearing

Well Doc, Right now I have stock spring and 68 belly busters. I find the engagement is low but the sled ripped bigtime last weekend. I got it to 110 on the railroad bed and still in break-in. I'm going to get a little stiffer spring to bring up the engagement in the 4000 range and probably...

    Pipe shoot out dec 22

I really like the ssi pipe and can combo. But insure about the noise levels it puts out. Wish they had some videos like bikeman and slp for the pipe in action. SSI has a video of it idling a bit and revving up a bit but no WOT pulls or sled moving. To bad because I'd get one right away if it...

thanks doc. I have the 50-44 full already. Sorry I didn't mention it but just didn't know if I should change the angles for the extra power. Thanks for all the help. I love this site, its right to the point and no beating around the bush with the info giving. Keep up the good work!!!

    Clutching and gearing

Any ideas Doc. I'm geared 1.74 and I weight 270 at sea level. More finish angle on the helix with that added power?

    Clutching and gearing

If I was to put the ssi pipe what would I have to change in my clutch to be able to use all the power? More weight or a helix change or maybe both?
