    Which would you do? Opinions?

Getting back to the original question, I just got the sales flyer from SLP. They are selling used P2 clutches for $250. No spring or helix. MSRP is $549. Parts pit stop is selling them for $369.

Pro R SLP 800 pipe questions

You could spot weld and pull out the dent like the body guys do. I know the pipe is thinner than crap though. Oh crap. I just reread the post and saw the pipe is ceramic coated. The spot weld would f**k that up.

    Gear change question...

Agree on having to check tension more often. The new slider may have less noise, but I'll bet it's cheaper also. That makes the bean counters happy.

What are the down sides to a pipe mod? Loss of torque somewhere in the power band?

    pipe mod

A little off topic but who does a decent pipe mod for a '13 600? Has anyone done an independent dyno test to confirm gains? Will a fuel controller be needed?

    Indy parts collecting has begun.

On a related note, I hung a pair of red SLT's on my '13 Indy. They look good but more importantly, they out corner the Pro-Steers hands down. Also the SLT's wear a lot better than the Pro-Steers. I think you are going to like the SP version over the standard Indy. The built in bar hooks really...

    Indy parts collecting has begun.

Just can't leave well enough alone? LOL Good luck on your summer parts hunt. I've tossed around the idea of a 128'' track myself but I don't want to lose the ability to set up and power slide around the apex of a corner through the exit full throttle, lightening up the skis in the process...

    Axys decals

Crap, I'm going to show my age here, but I totally agree with Dave on this one. Sometimes "less is more". I have seen some sharp, tastefully done custom sled graphics that I really liked though.

Can I go to any dealer for warranty work?

Is that even possible??:Banghead I thought that was an essential tool to be able to sell Polaris snowmobiles.

    P2??

I didn't look at mine to see how the bushings were retained when I had it apart last summer. But with over 3000 miles on it, the bushing were tight. (now if the primary springs would hold up without breaking...) What's weird is that the parts diagram shows a good number for both bushings, inner...

    Question on my Indy

No I don't. But I sent my shocks to DLS up near the Twin cities for rebuilding and he mentioned having a problem with a charging port also. He must have found a solution though, he rebuilt all four shocks for me. On a side note, he found a band blown in the rear PPS shock. Something to watch for...
