    Bikeman pipe cracked

Black high temp RTV will last for a while, but will eventually burn out. My favorite connection is a flange on the pipe where a Grafoil cone shape donut fits on it. Those gaskets last forever and stand up to slight flexing of the pipe to y-pipe connection. And they seal up very well.

Man, that brings back memories. That is a 500 triple single pipe sled if memory serves me. They were a high strung sled in their time.

    84 polaris 440 indy trail

Either the needle valve/ seats in the carburetors are leaking down or the fuel pump diaphragm is leaking fuel into the impulse line going to the crankcase.

1,200 Is actually too low. Should be 1,500- 1,800 or so. clockwise speeds up rpm, counterclockwise slows it down.

    Mufflers,silencers, cans

If it is truly an LE it should have the Polaris version of a ROX adjustable riser. If not, just measure the riser on it now and order a 2'' taller riser. Check cables and wires for length. As far as the can, you are going to get a lot of opinions on that. And they will be pretty much all...

But now that I think of it, my secondary always ends up to the outside, up against the bolt and washers. I...

Wouldn't a slightly short belt sit too high in the secondary? (without making any belt deflection adjustments)

    More polaris tips coming

Good info. Hopefully this reduces the chance of intermittent loss of performance on the '16's. If this is applied to the 2015's, along with updated clutching and belt, will this fix the few that had power loss?
