my dealer has dw. but might as well not. they don't know how to use it. oh and can't repair sleds to start with. I would think Polaris would correct this issue with piss poor dealers?
it depends. I've done both. i'am a big fan of clutch machining and balancing each piece individually. then you can change shims etc. with out making the clutch unbalanced. and as far as I know the clutch is balanced before the ring gear is installed? so I wouldn't worry about it? unless you have...
you can remove the e-start with-out any issue's. I do it all the time. I also remove the ring gear. I reclutch all the sleds anyway so I just don't want it there. it's just me. I know some think it helps with harmonic's? maybe but I haven't seen any advantage.
the Polaris kent moore/fox safety needle tool. it's a p.o.s. in my book. $150 really? my WPS supplier has the longer needles. will fit either the fox set-up or the motion pro that I use. in stock will have them 6-3-15. the fox shocks on the rzr's also need this longer needle. typical Polaris a...
while I agree the 600 c.f.i. is probably the best motor Polaris makes? the 600's from 2009 up aren't as strong as the 07' c.f.i. 600 was. the 07 has a tad longer connecting rod's. this was a fast motor stock. 129 h.p. strong. the 600 in the axys is 119 h.p.- 121h.p. maybe? and the compression on...
the bully dog gt tuner will read all 5v reference sensors. and has real time play back feature. but it can not change or recalibrate any thing. so if a gear change is made? it will have to go to a dealer. a company called can do will have the equivalent to the dw soon. I already have the can do...
the early Polaris water craft had there issues. those look like 03'04's? the msx were some of the best water craft out there. and the gneiss models had D.I. technology. they sold the rights to guess who? evenrude. we all know how that ended up? almost all engine parts are still available. a...
just for your info. the older Subaru cars used the exact select monitor. you just need to use the Polaris program for your sled. a lot of these aren't used any more. you maybe able to purchase one from a dealer that's put it in storage?
pretty hard to beat the 10 series weights. I do run some 11 series and I like mtx and daltons. other then that the rest aren't any better at the end of the day. I do weight match all my polairs weights and have custom ground them to get a weight that's not available like 67 grams etc.
yup I have experience with team rooster weights. save your money. I don't like them. and they will hit the spider in no time. I also have a team tied clutch. while it is better then the tss-04 it's not any better then a p-2 I think the p-2 is easier to tune? and will out top end the tied in my...
this has been the same on the pro-r's and really all c.f.i. sleds. the base voltage real needs to be verified on any sled experiencing any drivability or plug fowling issues. I think the ex. heat also has something to do with the changing tps voltage? I posted on this a while back on hcs as I...
I agree. I like more float then the Polaris spec. also. yes it's simple guy's. use the tool to get it perfectly lined up. touching both the inner drive sheave and outer driven. then take .60 out from behind the driven. bring perfect again and make sure it has .060 movement from under the...
any ex. leak means power lost. and on carb' sleds with poor fitting air boxes it can run rich also. this is just common sense. I find older sleds with terrible ex. leaks all the time. worn out dounts etc. this is a big deal. if you have oil leaking out of your pipe get it corrected. these new...
I have only three axys sleds to work on. one being my own. the other two were customers. my sled is a pro-x rush. only issue was loose fittings (coolant) near the ex. valve. I fixed this myself. the sled only has 500 miles on it. but I went over this before it was ever ridden and checked...
