10g of adjustment sounds about right. I'd have to look at the packaging to confirm. I run a Jaws pipe on one sled and an SLP single pipe set on another. These weights are my preferred choice and I don't come close to using 8g-10g of the adjustment screws. R's are right where they need to be as...
When I spoke to them a while back, the owner specifically said they are not tucked like others where you would have to worry about reshimming clutch.
Like I said, I wanted something I could just throw into my current set-up and adjust the weights where needed.
Doc turned me on to these...
Yes. They act like 65's as the base though due to their aggressive nature. I believe CPC explains how to go about ordering the correct application on their website.
I try to go w/lightest springs possible and load motor with the weights. 120/310 is a great primary spring. 140/200, 140/220, 155/222 are all good secondary spring choices.
Let me just share.....it's tough to beat a well set-up machine running Cutler Turbo Mags. The aggressive profile, the ease of adjustment...the AXYS 800's love em. My Asssult and SWB ProX are animals running these weights.
My buddy's on stock AXYS 800's are amazed at how drastic the pull is...
As cory states.....do a search on this site and pencil in some time to do some reading. They're some fantastic info on here from some insightful folks....doc, brock and some others. True tuners and real trail running guys.
I was in the same boat as you at one point. Did some research, spent...
Hey Guys,
Can someone kindly provide me the torque specs for the P85 Spider and Spider jam nut please? Is it 200 ft/lbs and 235 ft/lbs respectively?
Also, what's recommended for the type of loctite to use? Maybe a 620 or 640, but unsure what the service manual states.
Thanks in advance....
Fitch Fuel Capsules work! Purchase some and just drop them into the fuel tank. They keep the fuel fresh over prolonged storage.
I also use K100. It's a fantastic product that lubricates the fuel lines preventing dry rot, but more importantly prevents the fuel from seperating. I use it...
Yep. However, I think the belt to sheave might be too tight grabbing the belt pulling it around. Or the primary could be stuck. Either way, I think the issue is with the front clutch.
Trying to figure this out. Seems no matter how much I adjust the belt deflection (tight/loose), the track and secondary still spin ridiculously fast at idle with rear end suspended in air on Assault 144 w/1.352" Cobra.
Track has 1/2" of freehang, clutches properly aligned, chaincase is good and...
Thanks for clarifying Brock. What would be your take on the minimum amount of studs to run to get away with pulling the limiter strap? I have 114, 1.520" INS Hornets.
Also, do you pull up from the bottom or down from the top or both to tighten to the ~1" gap?
