All modern Polaris snowmobiles are 2 strokes plus 2 strokes are a lot lighter and much better off trail. You can get electric start with a 550.
I haven’t ran against other sleds yet. Mine is a 137” VR1 850 with 1.5 Storm track. My new one definitely pulls better than my 129” 850. It launches way better.

Oil is a hot topic normally. I sell Amsoil at my shop and truly believe in their products however I’m not afraid to try other oils too. I’ve heard lots of good stuff about Ipone oil, Mystik, Klotz, and other brands. Pick one and go for it.
