I believe it is a semi synthetic. I think the thicker oil coats the bottom half of the engine better for the older equipment. My newest sled is a 2023. It uses a full synthetic oil. I currently have five sleds, 1998 through 2003. I have had nothing but good luck running the Ski-Doo premium...
I unfortunately do a lot of packed Road riding. Already adjusted preload on the center and front shocks. Still getting to where the carbide are catching enough to still dark the sled side to side a bit. Looking for one hand ease ability. Not that I will drive one handed, but.
Crazy that the dealer once close to $150 for an oem suspension adjustment tool. I happen to have a 2003 Ski-Doo tool kit with a suspension adjustment in that tool kit that fits perfectly!
The response I received was to leave it where it is. It comes down to the nature of that connection. It relates to the theory of " flexible strength". Do not mess with that point.
Well, the dealership I went to yesterday. They had two assaults and and Adventure or something. The assault suspension is different suspension attachment Style. The two 137 850s they had there moved exactly like mine did. Both sides of theirs moved. Talked to the service manager and he states...
I am at an understanding that horizontal movement is okay but lateral movement is not in this location? The folks in the service department where I purchased this machine are telling me that's normal? The other side sure seems to be not moving! I will see what another shop says today then.
I have a 650 2023 Matrix VR1. Total snow conditions I have trouble getting the temperature to 100°. Out on a slightly snow covered Road that has a total base on it, I don't have a problem reaching 140 ° with tucking off on the shoulder of the road multiple times in four to six inches of snow. Is...
Simplicity sometimes goes a long ways. I would look at the belt myself. I would wash and break in the belt and see where you are? If the noise persist during break in, I guess simplicity wasn't the answer!
It looks like ride command now shows property boundaries also? That would make it extremely convenient to ensure you're not trespassing on private property if it is accurate.
Now you're making me think about the safety of my family. I've had a few people coming my way on the trail that you can easily tell they should keep both hands on the handlebars at the time. I hate it when they look scared and out of control when you're going by them!
I guess I'm kind of surprised after how everything went down last year and the beginning of this year. I was honestly thinking that I would be downright lucky to even see the sled this in 2023 let alone having it being built with a ship date already. Now the excitement level is up and that's the...
