Depends on what kit you bought. Most are actually the other profile which is more flat. And as for the other set they are a lot more aggressive and tucked so I have to reshim my clutch to use them
No snow yet so no testing has been done. We are ditching the old profile and using a 10 series profile in our kits from now on. Also we are coating them with nitrait now as we have found its lasting longer and more slippery. As for the screw in weights with magnetic tips we have to get some snow...
Ya mine still goes 108-112 and it's a Rush. I had the speedo redone for the gearing change as well. As far for clutching it will depend on your weight but I'm using stock 66 gram weights. 140/320 spring and 48/44 helix 140/220 spring. I also have a pipe on it so if revs right to 8,450 and holds...
I don't see them doing anything big with the chassi on the rmk. It's really only 3 years old with the trail sleds being 4 next year. Prly come out in 2020 for a 65th anniversary sled with a new engine
Go with the 1.81. I have the 1.6 on my Rush and omg it's a blast. That gearing makes it feel like a rocket in the trails. No lag. Almost feels like a race quad with instant power. I tried the 1.68 and 1.73 and .74 and all felt laggy
I'm not to worried about it no. probably do that next year after I take it apart to spec it out after a season. If the inside didn't look so good and the top end with minimal wear I would be more worried and yes would have rebuilt everything. I'm not worried about it hitting. It's already been...
going to be testing this new profile and design with set screws and magnets in the tips on my big bore and stage 1 sleds. Going to throw to vbox on and test them against gold stars, epi and others
I actually just bought a big bore cylinder they already had on the shelf. I'm keeping mine to try doing some wild stuff over the next year. I didn't do anything with the bottom end just from how good the top end looked and speced when I took it apart. I did new wrist bearings tho.
Went with the Bikeman big bore kit. The pistons are definitely nice looking. i am going to be really testing this motor next year for power and reliability as I plan to put a lot of miles on it. Already got it together and started. It feels faster reving from the lighter parts and more...
