- 2002 Polaris 800 XP SC Edge
Recently my sled started revving at 3500 rpm for idle instead of 1500 rpm. Likely running high due to lean fuel mixture after noticing the left carb boot was cracked just above the square flange. Has anyone replaced these carb boots before and know what is involved for the 800 Edge. The service manual says very little other than remove air box without any details. Does the air box need to be removed or will there be enough access pulling the front air box panel out away from the carb inlets?
