Final verdict on tunnel protection

Heya guys, hope all is well.

I was looking to get a final verdict on if tunnel protection is needed for the 137's. I see a lot of threads on the web about assaults. And there are a couple on the SB, but they seemed a bit too indecisive for my liking I'm running extreme max 1.52's.

Good way to find out?

Bottom you’re suspension out in you’re garage and measure clearance.

Use weight or force to bottom it out

You should not hit with 1.520 in the 1-1/4 track..ive run 1.640s and they just nicked..if you want to never worry about it hitting put sliders in from a xc-10 rear suspension(1998) and pin the end ..done..just make sure the track wont pinch with the added protection as it gets closer to the front driver, track slightly climes and gets closer to the tunnel in front..
