Hey guys I have a 2016 axys 800 with jaws pipe 8600 wot would like to drope that to 8400 and a set up for grass drags gears cluching any ideas where to start

Depends on if your using trail studs or chisels to determine gearing?

Trail studs that penetrate 3/8" + . I'd start at 1.95 ratio

Chisels with 1/2" + penetration, I'd start with 2.10 ratio

best way to drop rpm is with weight, and if you gear down, which you will need to do, your going to have to load the motor harder because of the gear change, gearing down will make the motor work easier..so you will be adding more weight.if your not a tuner I would suggest not gearing to low, just because you will have to be that much more efficient with your set up.
