Pro R SLP 800 pipe questions

Does the heatshied on this pipe look small. Trying to find net pics of this pipe and only ones I have seen show larger heatshield that is extended closer to the head pipe? Also noticed this little indent on bottom. Not sure if it would hurt anything but its there. Thanks for any input.

It's ceramic coated so it doesn't really need a heat shield, (doesn't hurt though)

That dent will affect performance, might want to pull heat shield off to see if there's more .
 
You could spot weld and pull out the dent like the body guys do.
I know the pipe is thinner than crap though.

Oh crap. I just reread the post and saw the pipe is ceramic coated. The spot weld would f**k that up.

I have the SLP pipe and can with Ceramic coating. i dont have a heat shield. and had zero issues with it last year. only 2040 miles.
