Just noticing on the 2006 550 Classic I was given that the steering rod ends are mounted on the top of the steering arms. Other Edge front suspensions I've seen have them mounted to the bottom side of the arms. Does it matter? I know the sled was repaired by a dealer. I'm guessing changing them to the bottom of the arms will require the skis be re-aligned.

I did hear from a guy on another forum who said his 2004 and 2007 Edge chassis sleds had the arms mounted on the top (and he provided a photo). Sounds like it might be OK...
