Just got back from U.P. Michigan sled trip. Sled ran great. I replaced the motor about 1800 miles ago with a REV6 long block. Original motor had 7000 miles on it and I was concerned with possible crank failure issues. I turned up oil pump adjustment just a little bit from stock. I have about 1600 miles on it now. Of course I would like to get better fuel mileage, but not a deal breaker. Sick of hearing my friends with E-Tech's brag about their MPG. I lost about 2 MPG after overhaul, got about 12.5 mpg on a 1060 miles trip this time out. Here are pictures of my plugs taken out today. I would appreciate any feedback. Don

Definitely running a bit rich. Given the age and mileage, I would start with running some injector cleaner mixed in the gas, they are probably a little dirty. I would also consider getting a set of VForce 3R reeds. I replaced the ones in my 13 and the stock ones were nothing great, known to be a little weak. Woke the motor up a little too.
You are going to have a hard time getting close to an etec, Polaris was working on that technology years ago and BRP bought out the vendor they were working with, so they got screwed out of it.
