We are over the ECU Speculation. It's time to tell you the differences between the 17 AXYS 800 and the 18 AXYS 800. I am going to keep this short and sweet so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
1. The Timing Offset is different under high Load / high RPM. Timing offset is when PTO has a different advance than MAG.
2. The Corrective Idle Timing is different when engine is extremely hot.
3. Pipe Temp sensor calibration values have changed to accommodate new pipe temp sensor brand.
4. ECU flashing code has changed from prior years. 18 File must be flashed into an 18 model year and will not accept 15-17 files and 15-17's will not accept an 18 file.
The rest of the ECU function is pretty similar. There will be no issue running a 2018 AXYS 800 head on a 15-17 all of the Water temp correction factors are the exact same.
We make the best AXYS kits available because we have the most technology available!
