So this INDY XC has got some great reviews and IMO is going to be great for Polaris.
It should bring some DOO and CAT guys over who didn’t want the Pro S Chassis.

I am waiting until 2020 until I can get the ASSAULT paid for and save some Cash for the INDY XC 850.

I have a funny feeling this sled will be the top dog for any current model 2 Stroke for speed and trail manners.

What makes this the better sled? Verse Pro S?

Well it’s a matter of opinion if the INDY XC is a “better” sled than the Pro S Chassis.
Seems that the guys who drove both are going with the INDY XC. Even over the Assault.
We seen guys give up there PRO S and go to the Assault because it was the only available regular style tunnell sled Polaris offers.
For me it was the regular style tunnel sled goes through the powder better then the Pro S Chassis. And the previous INDY being a lot faster.
Concerns were that carrying a fuel caddy or storage bag was limited on the Pro S compared to a regular tunnell sled.
Yes there’s racks for The Pro S, but they are expensive and that’s an additional purchase and lets be honest, not too appealing to the eyes.

Can't wait to see those clutching thread in the Indy xc section!..loll I'm getting one for sure!

I ordered a black / black tunnel /raw spindles and rails. The coated spindles on my other ones get a lil banged up from ice chunks and saplings so I said screw it I'll save the money and keep em AL. Like my xcr . "850" under the hood and cobra track which I keep second guessing. Last 2 years around my house have been a lot of hard trails so I'm rolling the dice with shorter lug and studs. It will probably backfire on me and I'll end up having to buy a 1.5 storm track. Lol. I just wanted all the Mph I could get to start

Get rid of that Gold spring, add a 120/320 with 74g weights and I bet that’s 2 lengths there alone.
Can’t wait to see this sled flying on the snow!
AHhaha Exactly what i was thinking!!,,

The storm track will be better to 80 -100mph. the other 2 will get more topend. The storm track will cause more windage which is less mph. Studding the storm will add more weight than the other 2, which will also help it ballon more. To me the Cobra is the best all around choice, and is what I would order if i order. Very doubtfull this year though.

My Indy XC is ordered. Having the unique opportunity to ride one sold me. I wish you guys could try this sled. The power of the Patriot 850 is a given....it really is that much better than the Liberty 800. The overwhelming factor for me was the ride quality and handling of the 129 Indy. I was so impressed with this combination. Super plush ride combined with great weight transfer and big bump capability. No inside ski lift...none. Very well balanced.

Lenn, if a 136/137 would have also been offered would you have gone that route over the 129?

Have you guys seen this video? Not sure what’s up with it as it looks edited and maybe slowed down?
Cause them sleds aren’t doing 90+ MPH when they go by the Cameraman??
With 9% more HP that 850 better be waking away from the DOO 850 and Polaris 800 as well! hmmmm ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoSSIsUu9VU

Coming off a Doo Renagade I’m impressed with the front end on Axys chassis how feels neutral goes where I want it to go so when I tested a switch back I order the Indy X/C I like the traditional tunnel even though the Rush XCR I rode for 1/2 day was awesome little different feel from the switch back been riding Doo for 25 yrs I’m excited about this sled an the season in 18

I'm not sure....I really liked the 129's feel. I'm mostly a trail rider and only owned the Assault because I never liked the Rush rear. The Indy was so flickable. I would have liked the opportunity to try a 137. Looks like we'll have to wait until 2020.

Watch the guy on the Assault...he ends up drifting off the trail a bit before he regains control. Holeshots are about good lines as much as traction. I'll bet $100 if we get to see the end of this video that the Assault pulls away on top. I rode it. It rips with the 850 Patriot motor. But I bet even an 800 Assault won't give up much to the 850 Assault in such a short run. I ran my brother's 850 Doo over the weekend. My daughter video taped the run. I easily walked away from him on the lake. I'll post footage soon.
