I picked up a set of Assault boards at Haydays and modded my Pro S and fit them up. The project was pretty smooth and they look great.
Way better snow evacuation. Better off trail
That is what I thought you would say. Myself, I am not really looking forward to that style on my Indy XC850, As a trail only rider, I view them as a colder ride. Guess I will find out.Nice work. Any particular reasons why you wanted those? Interested to hear.

On another site a poster claims there is a close of kit for these type of boards. I asked him for a link. Tin under would work, but I'd like something from the top, custom cut for around the raised footgrip's.It surely does look killer cool.
One downside, my 2011 F800 had very open boards like that as well, great for keeping snow / ice build up but in loose snow would constantly shoot snow on my legs plus even the smallest of puddle crossings and I was soaking wet. In swampy water that meant stinking mud n water on my legs. I ended up riviting tin from the bottom to partially close the openings off.
