2016 Polaris Pro S 800
Hello everyone . I have a 2015 Rush 800 with 121 track. Last year when I was out with some friends on their sleds (skidoo), I was having hard time keeping up with them. I then bought a few parts to make my sled quicker and here is what I have done so far:

68 gram weights
120-310 Primary
140-200 secondary
Helix 50/44
Jaws pipe-stock can (I JUST ordered the heat shield from Jaws as well)
re-geared for more lower end (geared 1.74)

What I noticed is that corner to corner is works far better, but I can't even hit 100mph now, nor will my rpms see the 8350-8450 that I was told I need to see for this Jaws pipe to work.

Any ideas what I could change to make this better? I am pretty new at this stuff and I know there are a lot of experienced guys on here. Thanks a ton for any help offered.
 
I would dbl check your secondary for binding. Delrin washer under the cup. Put the stock secondary spring back in. How much do you weigh suited up?
 
I like your gear set-up. Check your track tension and be sure it hangs loose about 1/2" @ 16" from back idlers after being warmed up, and then be sure your belt to sheave clearance is .015" and i personally have had better success with the Polaris belts

I dont have any washer under the cup now. I weigh about 195-200 fully suited
 
What are you seeing for RPM on the top end now?
Several things you can try (48/42 helix / 140-220 spring) but since I assume you still have stock wts, drop them in first n see how it reacts.
What wts / profile are you running?

I have 68 gram weights. Not sure how to tell profile.
 
I'd throw polaris 70 series weights at it. These sleds like the weight especially in the cold weather

You have too much helix and too much weight.

You need to go back to the beginning and change ONE thing at a time. Your gearing is great. Leave primary spring in. Take 68's out and put in 66's. Take 50-44 Full cut out and put back in the 58-44.36 heilx with the 123/202 (blue-black) secondary spring and run it. If she overrevs past the 8350-8450 mark religiously..... you have 2 options....put in the 10-68's and try it.....or back off the primary spring tension to a 120-300 primary spring. Leave the secondary alone until you get it reving where you want it.

You are loading it with the helix and the clutch weights too much.

I would only change the helix from what you have listed as your setup. Go back to the stock helix if you have it, or a 48-44 fp or 46-42fp.
