Hello Fellow Sledders,

This is my first post ever, so I will try my best.

I purchase a new sled every 2 years and average 3,000 miles a year. Most riding is done in Northern Minnesota/Northern Wi, and an occasionally trip to the Yupper.

So I'm looking for some opinions from you all. I've asked the group of people I ride with their opinions and I wanted to open this discussion up as I'm personally disappointed in the delivery of my 2020 850 and would like more opinions?

I recently took delivery on my new 2020 (couple weeks ago). I picked up the sled from the dealership in the dark and was told by the salesman that I probably know more about breaking in sled than he does? No one at the dealership could tell me exactly what oil to use. ( I've read mixed opinions online, dealership told me just to use the standard polaris ves). Hell I don't even know if I'm suppose to put oil in the first tank of fuel ? No one has explained anything to me. ( this is the 1st 850 I've owned so I would like a little education about the 850 motor from the dealership)

I looked at my sled 2 days after taking delivery when I had time ( I have it in my enclosed trailer) When I started looking at my sled I noticed that it was filthy dirty, the bumper had a huge scratch through the powder coating into the aluminum, the rear adventure bag had a big scratch on it, and the battery was dead? I studded and put a pair of C&A skis on the sled myself, but had the dealership put the tunnel protectors on and they still sent it out that way? (did they think I wouldn't see the 10 lbs of dirt on it or the scratches, or the dead battery???)

I brought it back to the dealership and left it there for them to fix it ( the dealership is being good about fixing these items but REALLY COME ON)

So 4 days later my friend stopped in dealership to check on his sled delivery date and he wanted to see my adventure bag cause he's considering purchasing one. The service guy at the dealership brought him back to my sled and told my friend I was being PICKY? My friend sent me a picture of my brand new sled sitting in the dirt which is now mud because it's been raining all day here and now my sled is in the mud stored outside? I went and picked it up that day. I personally am not going to look at $16,000.00 sitting in a mud puddle getting rained on.

I feel like the dealership is thinking I'm a really picky person? I don't feel I'm being picky at all, I feel that my expectations ( which I don't think are to out of line) are not being fulfilled? Let me put the first scratch in it

This is the 3rd time my sled has been to the dealership since I've takin delivery on a BRAND new sled? I haven't even started it yet

I would like to hear your opinions on this topic and interested to hear if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone thinks I'm being out of line.

I look forward to your responses.

I uploaded 2 picture, one of sled outside and one of bumper. I'm trying to load the other pic but it's to big?

Thank You

The poll that you created and the post as well.. you want others to respond and post correct?
Absolutely. I would like as many response to the post as possible.

I apologize if I read your response wrong as this is my 1st time posting so I’m kind of green to this.

But yes, I tried to post this as a poll and also a post for people to respond I think I posted right?

Thanks for your response

Yes its correct. Traffic is not very high on the site so I was trying to get a few guys to look at it that maybe purchased new sleds.
