    Tps voltage check with pcv

My PCV readings and DW readings are a little different. If it's way out on your PCV it's likely off a ways on DW too. Idle reading is closer than 100% throttle reading.

    You guys must test!

Dave I agree completely! The problem I see is when somebody copies or obviously has taken inspiration from something and calls it their own.

Best top speed but only 8050 rpm

No testing with the Jaws pipe. On other piped and stockers the Axys 800 does respond to added timing via PCV w timing control.

Did you buy your kit from NSP? If that’s who your talking about and your interested enough to do your research a lot of this stuff was on HCS/Snowest/PSP before he was selling kits. I don’t say this to demean anybody. Most of this is archived and still on those sites. Ask the guy about his...

heavy weight light springs theory ???

I’ve seen sleds win Haydays with giant secondary springs. Also seen others win rockin a Polaris Red (weak) in a button clutch. From what I’ve seen over the years the overall setup is more important than clutching theories. A tach isn’t a measure of performance. Timers measure ET not tachs...

    Need 100-200 rpm

I ran the SLP pipe in to the stock can for a couple of years and it fit fine. I did bend the tabs and use a short spring on one of them. I can’t say I’ve noticed a gain or loss with either muffler. All my testing was done with the stock muffler. SLP is lighter and louder. Dave if your...

    Stay away from terra alps

Sounds like you went through a lot of work/grief to run these heads. Just curious how much HP they made on the dyno?

Reliability Kit wich one to use

I could care less about snowmobile politics. Love/hate RKT, BMP or whoever it doesn't matter. I sell nothing. Sponsored by nobody. I can run whatever I want to run. From my experience, the best piston available from a reliability standpoint for the 800 HO motor is the stock piston. If I...

Reliability Kit wich one to use

IMHO the best piston available for the Axys 800 HO motor is the stock Polaris piston.

    Pipe shootout again

No idea if they were cooling the dyno room or not, but if they were using outside air the high temp in Batavia, NY was approx 84 degrees.

    Pipe shootout again

I'd be interested to know what the density altitude or air temp they were testing at? Like any test, this was one day and these were the results.

?? Dalton QAP weight vs 10 weights ??

Dr., I definitely agree you could end up with similar performance running different setups. I've had race setups that ran similar ET's with different setups. (One FP and one dual angle) The Dalton's are a good weight but if you really want to play around with weight placements have you tried...

?? Dalton QAP weight vs 10 weights ??

I think the individual weights were around 66.8 empty. I think they wanted to overshift at around 100 feet even unloaded. (not stock secondary, geared, 144 1.45's in the snow, testing 2 years ago) As you know when you put the screws to the Axys 800 stock it can overshift in that area. I...

    Game Changer

The guy who built that is a really nice guy. He used to do cranks and etc. for me. Look forward to hearing about your testing on it!
