Yes... I agree - phase separation with a potential static or stray voltage issue.

Parts Unlimited makes one. My dealer even stocks them as they are more economical than Pol's version.

Just replace the valve. Unbolt and replace it. The center bar is the part Poo recommends a procedure tool for... Same with the cable. Just replace it.. no need to relearn in my experience.

I would switch out the relay located in the bag above the clutch guard. See if that helps. I use the aftermarket Panasonic ones.

I also have seen some issues like this. There is a starter relay above the battery that I changed out. Seems fine now.
